Farmer Resources:
Disaster Response & Recovery

In the days and weeks following Hurricane Lala, SHAC has been in contact with our member organizations and individual farmers to provide information on available resources specifically targeting farm recovery following a natural disaster. We are sharing this information here so a wider audience can easily access them. Additionally, you will find our suggested immediate steps to take on your farm after a natural disaster hits.

SHAC brings together Hawaiʻi’s leading agricultural associations to collaborate on research, funding, and market development initiatives that benefit farmers, producers, and the broader agricultural community.

Through strategic partnerships and grant-funded programs, SHAC supports innovation, strengthens local economies, and helps Hawaiʻi-grown products compete in global markets.
